Change Starts Within You

Change is an inevitable and essential part of life, encompassing personal development and societal progress. While many individuals crave positive change, they often disregard the crucial fact that change must commence internally. By acknowledging our own responsibility to initiate change and actively striving to foster it, we hold the power to bring about transformative outcomes. Embodying the values and behaviors we wish to see in the world can create a ripple effect, inspiring others and contributing to a better future for all. Taking personal accountability is a vital step in driving change. It entails recognizing that we have the capacity to shape our own lives and influence those around us. By accepting responsibility for our actions, attitudes, and decisions, we reclaim control over our destinies and actively engage in the change we seek. Rather than attributing blame to external factors or individuals, we acknowledge that change begins from within and take ownership of our...

All Was Well

Junior high school is a pivotal time in every student's life—a period filled with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs. As the final chapter of this chapter draws to a close, it's only natural to take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences, friendships, and personal growth that have shaped our lives. In this blog post, I would like to share my heartfelt thoughts and gratitude as I bid farewell to junior high school. Looking back at the past quarters, I realize that our journey through junior high school was no walk in the park. We encountered numerous obstacles that tested our resilience and determination. Yet, despite the tears shed along the way, it was the laughter that prevailed. Our collective ability to find joy in the face of challenges is what made this journey truly remarkable. Being part of Maxwell has been an extraordinary experience. The strong and joyful bond we formed with one another transformed our classroom into a tight-knit family. Within tho...

The Celebration of Mother's Day

Mother's Day is an annual celebration that honors the love, dedication, and sacrifice of mothers. This day, which is typically celebrated on the second Sunday of May in many countries, presents an occasion to recognize and appreciate the extraordinary role that mothers play in our lives. The roots of Mother's Day can be traced back to ancient times, where various cultures commemorated motherhood in different ways. However, the modern version of Mother's Day was founded in the early 20th century in the United States by Anna Jarvis. She aimed to honor her mother and all mothers who had given up so much for their children. Since then, this day has become a worldwide celebration of motherhood, and people worldwide use it to demonstrate their appreciation and gratitude to their mothers. Acknowledging the love, support, and guidance that mothers provide to their children is not the only way to celebrate Mother's Day. Mothers play a crucial role in shaping their children...

Mayo Uno, Labor Day

The first day of May marks a significant day for the Filipino workforce, as it is celebrated as Labor Day across the country. This public holiday is a tribute to the contributions and hard work of workers in various sectors, from manufacturing to healthcare. The celebration also highlights the importance of workers' rights and welfare, emphasizing the need for fair compensation, safe working conditions, and adequate social protection. Throughout history, workers' struggles for better working conditions and labor rights have been a global issue. International Workers' Day, also known as May Day, originated in the late 19th century as a commemoration of the Haymarket affair in Chicago, where workers were protesting for an eight-hour workday. Since then, the holiday has become a symbol of workers' solidarity and a call for social and economic justice. In the Philippines, Labor Day is celebrated with various events, including rallies and parades, where workers' unions a...

One Step Closer

This 3rd grading period, I have felt how tiring and draining it was for us. There were lots of sleepless nights, and every each of us were deprived for sleep. It was all because of the numerous activities from our school. It could be physical activities, written works and quizzes. Though, no matter how tiring it was, we still managed to have fun, enjoy, and get through it. For so many blood, sweat and tears spent, we're now almost in the final step.  As this quarter ends, I have realized that we all went through a lot. Yet, those hardships we went through really paid off. I saw how hard we all worked for our achievements, especially if it was an as a whole class output. No matter how challenging it was, it was never a reason for us to give up. We're now 1 step closer to the end, and I am beyond proud for all of the achievements we have done. To more greater achievements!!

High School Day Finally Happened

The pandemic life was one of the main reasons why fun occasions were stopped. One of these was the celebration of High School Day in the school year 2019-2020. The entire school was preparing for this special event, but then suddenly, Covid-19 outbreak happened.  However, after almost 3 years of being stuck in pandemic, the authorities decided to resume face-to-face classes which made the High School Day Celebration be held for the first time again. The 25th of March was the 121st High School Day Celebration, with the theme "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence of Solidarity" and with the event being split into three main sections: the Thanksgiving Day mass, the main program, and the field demonstration.  All thanks to the teachers who worked hard on preparing this event, big bright smiles were seen from everyone. Though it brings back a lot of memories, it was fun making a whole new lot of them again. This year's highschool day probabl...
