New Year, Better Me

2022 was indeed a roller coaster. I faced bunch of unexpected obstacles that weren't easy to get through. One them was when I lost one of the most important person in my life, my lolo.  Getting through that phase of sorrow was really hard, I felt the most painful pain I have ever felt when he passed. But, fortunately, I have been able to accept it.  In the last days of 2022, I have thought about moving forward and starting a new phase of my life. I have thought that, I should still continue my steps no matter how hard and impossible it may seem. I may have a lot of pain felt in the year of 2022, but for me, it felt better to leave them all behind. It is much better to start up again than bringing it all the way and not letting them go. I can say that, there is nothing wrong in letting go, especially if it will be the reason for your self improvement. This 2023, it will be the year of showing the better side of me. Bad traits will stay behind, some will stay but will improve. ...

Viva Vigan!

A feast is held in Vigan City on January 25th each year. It is observed on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion. The patron saint of Vigan City is St. Paul. The Metropolitan Cathedral, the primary cathedral of Vigan, is devoted to St. Paul and is the heart of the Nueva Segovia Archdiocese. Along with the church, the St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur is Vigan's largest Catholic educational facility and is named in honor of the patron. The Vigan City Fiesta often goes on for a few days. The celebration of Vigan's cityhood anniversary, which is observed annually on January 27, falls within this time frame. Filipinos have a tradition of going back to their hometowns to celebrate their fiestas with family and friends, and Biguenos from all over the nation and even from abroad visit Vigan to participate in this tradition. Thousands of tourists from other regions of the Philippines and abroad join them in taking in the parades, street dancing, and cultural performance...

EstudyanTREPRENEUR 2022

The TLE Club and the STEP Club collaborated to put on an event during the month of December called "EstudyaNTREPRENEUR 2022." The event was centered around with the theme "Likas na Talento at Kasanayan: Tugon sa Katatagan at Pagharap sa Hamon ng Bagong Normal." During the course of this event, a variety of booths, including those pertaining to information and communications technology (ICT), wellness and beauty care, dress making, puto making, industrial arts, and more, were available to the public. As the Vice President of the TLE Club, I can say that the opening was a success. A lot of students showed interest, and they went to check out the various booths that were set up. In case you are interested in learning more about the primary purpose of our gathering, I will provide an in-depth explanation of it. This event was intended to promote students' work and the areas of expertise they had developed via their TLE sessions. Providing students with the opportun...

December to Remember

The month of December was definitely one of the most memorable months for me so far. We encountered a brisk wind on our way to school each and every day. It was almost as though we were walking through Baguio City at the time. On the other hand, I had friends who were always willing to give me warm hugs, which not only made me feel better but also made the colder weather more bearable. Also, taking a shower without hot water was equivalent to soaking in a tub filled with ice water, which is rather funny when you think about it. Fast forwarding this to our Christmas Program. For us, it was a long but wonderful day. We played games created by our classmates, ate a variety of meals, and some brought food home with them. I'm pleased we all got to have fun together because this will be our last celebration as we enter our senior year of high school. It was a pleasant experience to conclude the party with gifts from each other. To sum up this blog, I am extremely happy for the opportuni...

2nd Phase

The second quarter of this academic year was really challenging after surviving the first. Compared to the first one, it was very different. I felt that our lessons were a little more difficult to comprehend. I have to be honest and say that I haven't been performing well in some topics, possibly due to a lack of comprehension and concentration. However, attending class was still a lot of fun.  This 2nd quarter, I have felt how deep our responsibilities as students are.  We had a lot of activities to make, and projects we should finish. We had sleepless nights finishing our research, but, we survived. With our exams coming up, I know that it will be much tougher this time, but I know that we'll be able to pull it through again. We survived the 1st quarter, and I know that we'll survive 2nd quarter and the upcoming quarters much better than we did with the 1st one.  This is still the second phase; it could be difficult, but we must all be patient and try our best. W...
