This is A's Life

Starting off this blog, I would like to first introduce myself. I am Mary Adeline E. Festejo, my name came from a book of baby names. My parents chose my name to start with  M and A because their names also start with M which stands for Marius and A which stands for Agnes. Me, a 16 year old 10th grader is a part of the Special Science Classes. I've been in this program/class since Grade 7. Furthermore, being in this class has gave me obstacles, which were really fun and I was able to pull it through.

In life, we have our hobbies that help us cope up with our stress, problems, or the negative things that we experience. My hobbies include; singing, watching, playing online games, and sleeping. The words I mentioned, are the ones that help me get through the phase of negative energy/feelings. Fun fact, I have 7 dogs and which I love very much. There are 5 females and 2 males. Their names are Kelly, Chicky, Tudi, Sushi, Aika, Olaf and Yuji. I am a very loveable person when it comes to animals, because they are very lovely and comforting. In addition, watching series is what makes me enjoy staying up late and laying in bed. For my motto, I believe that life has full of puzzles, which helps us walk through the right path and decisions for our brighter future.

As a 10th grade student, I am aiming for a successful life, and for a bright future. I am a very unconfident person, because I am afraid of what will happen or what might happen in the near future. Nevertheless, we all should think twice before we make a decision, so that no regrets may happen in the end. Mini advice to wrap it all up, enjoy life and always be kind, in the end, you'll get much more in return. That is all, I am Mary Adeline E. Festejo, future Nurse. Thank you for reading my work!

I truly believe that I have what it takes to make this dream come true and find success along the way. And you know what's even more amazing? Faithful Devotion: Experiencing Holy Week in the Philippines

Semana Santa, the Holy Week, holds significant religious and cultural importance in the Philippines as Catholics come together to commemorate the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This time of solemn observance is marked by unique and deeply-rooted traditions that are an integral part of Filipino culture. Let's take a closer look at how Semana Santa is celebrated in the Philippines. One of the most notable traditions during Semana Santa is the reenactment of Jesus Christ's crucifixion. In the town of San Pedro Cutud, devoted individuals known as "Kristos" voluntarily undergo the crucifixion as an act of penance and sacrifice. Nailed to wooden crosses, they endure immense pain and suffering to replicate Jesus' ultimate sacrifice. Despite the controversial nature of this practice, it draws crowds of tourists and devotees who witness this profound display of faith and devotion. Another significant tradition during Semana Santa is the "Visita Iglesia,...

2nd Phase

The second quarter of this academic year was really challenging after surviving the first. Compared to the first one, it was very different. I felt that our lessons were a little more difficult to comprehend. I have to be honest and say that I haven't been performing well in some topics, possibly due to a lack of comprehension and concentration. However, attending class was still a lot of fun.  This 2nd quarter, I have felt how deep our responsibilities as students are.  We had a lot of activities to make, and projects we should finish. We had sleepless nights finishing our research, but, we survived. With our exams coming up, I know that it will be much tougher this time, but I know that we'll be able to pull it through again. We survived the 1st quarter, and I know that we'll survive 2nd quarter and the upcoming quarters much better than we did with the 1st one.  This is still the second phase; it could be difficult, but we must all be patient and try our best. W...
