For the 2 years of not being able to go to school, as I entered our school for the very first time again in August, I felt something very exquisite inside me. Mixed emotions were felt, as the nostalgic feeling struck me. I realized that I was once a 7th grader walking and running around the hallways. And now that we have totally came back to school, I am now in the last year of my Junior Highschool. This is when reality hit me. After all those stressful modules and online classes we have gone through, I know that another obstacle is paved in my way for me to overcome.
On the first weeks of classes, being in a new environment made me feel nervous, because I wasn't personally familiar with my new classmates. But fortunately, I was able to adjust quickly because all of them were very approachable and friendly. In just a week, we were all able to share laughs and joy together. As we started our lessons, I have seen how dedicated our teachers are. Our lessons may be hard but with the guide of our current teachers, I know that we can all make it through. Imagine for 2 years of only teaching their students in front of a screen? That must have been very hard, and I knew for a fact that they were all happy to be back to school and teach us personally.
Exam week was very draining and stressful, but look! Here I am writing this reflection of mine. Our 1st quarter period has now ended, and I can say that we all did very well. We have survived, and we will continue to strive until the very end. I have learned that accepting challenges are quite fun, because it helps in developing ourselves and it helps us grow maturely. It may be tough, but hey, there's nothing wrong in trying new things and showing your true self. All I can say is that, we all should keep moving forward, be patient of what awaits us, and everything will be worth it. Stand still, be strong, be proud. That is all, I know we all did well! :)

Congrats on surviving the first phase of being a grade 10 student. I am proud of you, Ade!
