One Step Closer

This 3rd grading period, I have felt how tiring and draining it was for us. There were lots of sleepless nights, and every each of us were deprived for sleep. It was all because of the numerous activities from our school. It could be physical activities, written works and quizzes. Though, no matter how tiring it was, we still managed to have fun, enjoy, and get through it. For so many blood, sweat and tears spent, we're now almost in the final step.

As this quarter ends, I have realized that we all went through a lot. Yet, those hardships we went through really paid off. I saw how hard we all worked for our achievements, especially if it was an as a whole class output. No matter how challenging it was, it was never a reason for us to give up. We're now 1 step closer to the end, and I am beyond proud for all of the achievements we have done. To more greater achievements!!

All Was Well

Junior high school is a pivotal time in every student's life—a period filled with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs. As the final chapter of this chapter draws to a close, it's only natural to take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences, friendships, and personal growth that have shaped our lives. In this blog post, I would like to share my heartfelt thoughts and gratitude as I bid farewell to junior high school. Looking back at the past quarters, I realize that our journey through junior high school was no walk in the park. We encountered numerous obstacles that tested our resilience and determination. Yet, despite the tears shed along the way, it was the laughter that prevailed. Our collective ability to find joy in the face of challenges is what made this journey truly remarkable. Being part of Maxwell has been an extraordinary experience. The strong and joyful bond we formed with one another transformed our classroom into a tight-knit family. Within tho...

Faithful Devotion: Experiencing Holy Week in the Philippines

Semana Santa, the Holy Week, holds significant religious and cultural importance in the Philippines as Catholics come together to commemorate the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This time of solemn observance is marked by unique and deeply-rooted traditions that are an integral part of Filipino culture. Let's take a closer look at how Semana Santa is celebrated in the Philippines. One of the most notable traditions during Semana Santa is the reenactment of Jesus Christ's crucifixion. In the town of San Pedro Cutud, devoted individuals known as "Kristos" voluntarily undergo the crucifixion as an act of penance and sacrifice. Nailed to wooden crosses, they endure immense pain and suffering to replicate Jesus' ultimate sacrifice. Despite the controversial nature of this practice, it draws crowds of tourists and devotees who witness this profound display of faith and devotion. Another significant tradition during Semana Santa is the "Visita Iglesia,...
